1. Purpose
This Listing Acceptability Policy exists to ensure that getbusiness.co.in remains a trusted business database. Any business submitted to our platform must be lawful, legitimate, and compliant with Indian regulations. Listings that fail to meet these standards are not permitted on the platform and may be removed at any time.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for publication, each listing must:
- Represent a real and actively operating business in India
- Provide accurate, verifiable, and lawful business information
- Display authentic company details including address, email, and phone number
- Be categorized correctly within the applicable industry
- Include documentation when offering regulated services (where applicable)
Listings that lack legitimacy will be rejected.
3. Prohibited Listings
The following types of businesses and content are strictly prohibited and not permitted on the platform:
3.1 Illegal, Unlawful, or Unlicensed Activities
Any business involved in activities in violation of Indian law, including:
- Unauthorised financial, medical, legal, or government-regulated services
- Counterfeit, stolen, or black-market goods
- Any product or service prohibited by regulatory authorities
3.2 Adult or Explicit Services
Services, imagery, or content of a sexual or obscene nature are not allowed, including but not limited to:
- Adult entertainment
- Explicit or indecent services that violate public decency laws
3.3 Gambling, Betting, and Lottery (Without Verified Government Approvals)
Unregulated gambling or wagering activities will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Listings promoting discrimination, harassment, violence, or extremist behavior are prohibited.
3.7 Intellectual Property Violations
Use of logos, trademarks, or copyrighted materials without authorization is strictly disallowed.
4. Content Quality Requirements
To maintain a high-trust business directory, getbusiness.co.in will remove content that:
- Contains excessive promotional spam or irrelevant keywords
- Uses ALL CAPS excessively or unprofessional formatting
- Uploads copyrighted photos without rights or proof
We reserve the right to edit formatting for readability and accuracy.
5. Review and Enforcement Rights
We retain the unrestricted right to:
- Verify any business information
- Reject listings that do not meet requirements
- Remove listings without prior notice if they breach this policy
- Suspend or terminate accounts involved in violations
Listings removed for policy violations are not eligible for refunds.
6. Reporting
Users may report suspicious content for review. We may refer serious violations to authorities when legally required.
7. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
