The Nigerian Center for Disease control and prevention is Nigeria’s leading public health agency responsible for disease surveillance, outbreak response, emergency preparedness, and health system strengthening. Working with partners such as the Nigerian National Antimicrobial Stewardship Taskforce (NNAST), the agency supports antimicrobial resistance control, promotes evidence-based interventions, and helps protect communities through coordinated public health actions across the country.
