1. Google Business Profile
The most important listing for any business with a location or service area. It controls how you appear in Google Search, Google Maps and AI Overviews. Verify the profile (Google often asks for a short video), choose an accurate primary category, add hours, photos and services, and reply to every review. Create or claim your profile.
2. GetBusiness
GetBusiness is an Indian business directory organised by category and city — for example healthcare in Delhi or IT and software companies in Bengaluru. The Starter plan is free; paid plans add more categories, links in your description, shop products and badges. Listings with a valid GSTIN show a GST Verified badge. See plans and pricing.
3. Justdial
Still the best-known local search brand in India, used heavily for services, repairs, clinics, coaching and shops. A free listing is available; paid packages give higher placement. Answer enquiry calls quickly — Justdial leads go cold fast.
4. Bing Places for Business
Bing Places powers Bing Search and Maps and is one of the sources Microsoft Copilot draws on. You can import your details directly from Google Business Profile, so it takes minutes.
5. Apple Business Connect
Apple Business Connect controls how your business appears in Apple Maps, Siri and Spotlight on iPhones. Add your logo, photos, hours and action buttons such as Call or Website. iPhone users are a large share of higher-spending customers in Indian cities.
6. IndiaMART
The largest B2B marketplace in India for manufacturers, wholesalers and suppliers. A free catalogue is useful; paid plans bring more buyer enquiries. List products with clear specifications, minimum order quantity and price ranges.
7. Sulekha
Best for service providers who want enquiries — tutors, packers and movers, interior designers, event planners. The listing is free, and leads are sold on paid plans, so set your service areas carefully.
8. TradeIndia
A second major B2B marketplace, popular with SMEs and exporters. Worth adding alongside IndiaMART if you sell to businesses.
9. Mappls (MapmyIndia)
Mappls is India's home-grown map, built into many apps and car navigation systems. Adding your place there improves the chance of being found by drivers and on apps that use Mappls data. Use the Mappls app or website to add or correct your place.
10. magicpin
For local shops, salons, cafés and restaurants in larger cities, magicpin brings nearby customers through offers and vouchers. It suits businesses that rely on walk-ins.

- Use one master profile. Write your details once and paste them everywhere. Inconsistent names, addresses or phone numbers make search engines less sure about which details are correct.
- Choose specific categories. "Dental clinic" beats "healthcare"; "CA firm" beats "services".
